ASH Drywall

ASH Drywall recently partnered with Balfour Beatty to support a construction bootcamp at Brighton Met College. Our Contracts Manager, John Abnett, gave a talk to the students about the drylining trade and construction industry generally. He provided an overview of ASH Drywall, explaining the types of projects we work on and the career opportunities available in the field.

During the session, John discovered that none of the students had ever been on a live construction site. To give them a proper introduction to life on-site, he invited the group to visit our West Slope project. John conducted a guided site tour with the students, explaining everything from the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to how we deliver excellence in drylining wall systems. This will be a valuable, hands-on learning experience for the students.

In addition, John has offered continued support to Sussex University, particularly with their MET courses scheduled to begin in August and later in the year.
